If you are petrified with the idea of wheeling around a tartan coloured granny trolley when you're older look no further.

In steps the uber cool looking Caddy from Wood&Wood Design. According to the company - the Caddy is "an affordable mainstream lifestyle product that combines the benefits of the granny trolley, mobility aid and roller suitcase without the aesthetic stigma of the first two".

The company say that it can be pulled with one hand, pushed with two and provides storage, support and seating when and how they are needed.

The Caddy recently won a highly commended at the DBA Inclusive Design Challenge 2005-6

Wood&Wood Design say they are actively seeking a development partner to help take the design forward.
