Community testing gives thumbs up

Adobe has now announced a final release for the Lightroom 2.3 and Camera Raw 5.3 updates.

The updates were originally posted as release candidates for community testing, and following good feedback, have now been released to the general public.

Camera Raw 5.3 provides Raw file support for the newly-released Nikon D3X and Olympus E-30 cameras, while the Lightroom 2.3 update provides support for eight additional languages including Dutch, Swedish and Korean.

Additionally, the Lightroom update addresses several issues including a solution to a memory leak that affected some customers of the Lightroom 2.2 release.

Both updates are available as free updates for existing Lightroom and Photoshop customers and can be downloaded from the Adobe website.
