Sony rumoured to launch super-zoom CyberShot DSC-HX1 at PMA
With 1080p video and HQ sound

With the big PMA camera show next week, rumour mill whisperings have been centred around a new Cybershot from Sony - the DSC-HZ1 to be specific.
Probably one of the biggest giveaways is that a number of online camera shops have added placeholders for the new flagship prosumer Cybershot, which is rumoured to be a 9-megapixel camera, with 20x super-zoom, 1080p video and HQ sound.
Other specs that have been suggested include a 2.7- or perhaps 3-inch LCD screen, optical SteadyShot with anti-motion blur, and a 10fps burst rate at an as yet unknown resolution.
It's thought the camera will retail over here for around £400, but as with all rumours it's best to take this all with a pinch of salt until we get the official announcement next week.
Be sure to check back for more updates on this and all the other news from PMA.
