Panasonic releases updated firmware for DMC-LX3

30 January 2009 16:49 GMT / By Verity Burns

Exactly 1 month after its last update, Panasonic has released new firmware for the DMC-LX3 camera.

Version 1.2 improves the white balance flash mode setting when it is connected to the DMW-FL220 flash unit.

It also ensures the proper shutter speed setting when image stabilisation is switched on in both Intelligent Auto (iA) and Scene Mode, and that Exif information is correct in the JPEG picture file.

You can download version 1.2 of the firmware from Panasonic's website. Full details on how to install it onto your camera, as well as how to check your current firmware version are over there too.
