Wildlife photography competition launches

Win an Olympus SP-570UZ

29 January 2009 17:08 GMT / By Verity Burns

A wildlife photography competition has been launched by Burrard-Lucas.com, a photography website set up by two brothers.

With the theme purely "Wildlife Portraits", a photograph of any animal is acceptable as long as it was taken in the wild.

The competition is open to anyone of any age around the world, and there is no entry fee. You're only allowed to submit up to three images to the competition though, so choose wisely.

The winner will receive an Olympus SP-570UZ camera, that boasts 10-megapixels, a 2.7-inch LCD screen and 20x optical zoom with image stabilisation.

The brains behind the website are Matthew and Will Burrard-Lucas, who are keen photographers themselves. The website acts as both a blog and a gallery for their work, so remember to have a peek while you're over there.

The competition closes on 30 April and the winner will be announced on 7 May.
