Momento to shut down photo-hosting website

Momento Live will close on 25 February

22 January 2009 16:21 GMT / By Verity Burns

Momento has announced that it will be terminating its Memento Live service in February.

Any users of Momento Live will cease to have access to the website and its services from 25 February.

Your Momento digital frame will be unaffected, but the closure of the website means that you will no longer be able to store your photos on the Momento Live server, or share your photos with other Momento Live members.

Therefore, if you have any pictures stored on the online servers, do make sure you have a copy of them stored on your PC before 25 February or you will lose them.

We've been informed that when visiting the Momento Live website you may receive a website security warning that the SSL certificate has expired and has not been renewed. Momento wants to assure users that the site is safe for them to enter and retrieve their images.

Remember - 25 February is the cut off date.
