Epson has announced it will be introducing a new scanner to its range in the form of the Perfection V30.

Reaching an optical resolution of 4800 dpi, the slimline scanner is aimed at home users looking to scan things such as documents and photos. It has the ability to scan documents up to 25mm thick with the lid closed, but features a fully open lid design to allow for anything thicker.

The Perfection V30 is equipped with ReadyScan LED technology which means that the unit has low power consumption and requires virtually no warm-up time.

It also features a multiple scan to PDF button as well, which allows users to easily and automatically save documents into PDF format so they are easy to mail, and Epson Easy Photo Fix software too.

The Epson Perfection V30 is available now for £68.50.
