Bogen Imaging has announced the new Manfrotto 545B, a two stage, twin leg lightweight video tripod.

Developed with the professional photographer in mind, the 545B features optimised upper and lower collars which guarantees more torsion rigidity with a payload of 25kg.

The collars of the new tripod are also designed to be aligned with Manfrotto’s new range of single tube tripods as well, while the die cast aluminium crown features a built-in 100mm interface bowl, which can also be adapted to a 75mm one.

The tripod comes with an innovative mid level spreader, but can be provided with an optional floor–level spreader, which is available separately.

Finally, the Manfrotto 545B comes with quick on-off rubber shoes that guarantee a better grip on smooth surfaces.

The Manfrotto 545B tripod will be available from 7 February for £349.95.
