Panasonic has announced a firmware update for its DMC-LX3 camera, which should fix a number of bugs and compatibility issues the camera has had.

Version 1.1 includes a compatibility update for the optional FL220 flash unit, and also improves auto white balance performance under different colour temperatures and lighting.

To upgrade your firmware, head over to the Panasonic website to download it, where you will also find full details on how to install it. It is strongly recommended that every owner of a camera featuring any firmware less that 1.1 upgrades to the newest version.
