Corel has launched a photography competition that will test your skills at editing your photos with Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo. The Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 "Before and After" competition is open to professionals and amateurs alike, and you don't even have to buy the software to enter.
If you don't already own it, head over to the Corel website and download a 30-day trial of the software so you can get started. Then Corel want you to go through all your photos and find a really bad one - one that certainly didn't make it onto Facebook.
Then, start to work your photo editing magic, turning your photo into a masterpiece. You can use the Learning Centre or video tutorials for tips if you've never used the software before, which will teach you edits such as reducing red eye, removing blemishes, whitening teeth, adding a bit of a tan or removing objects out of photos. There are 500 effects to choose from, so have a play around and see what you come up with.
Then, to enter the competition, send both the before and after photos to Corel and you'll be in with a chance of winning a Sony Alpha 300 DSLR camera.
Head on over to the Corel website for more details and to download the trial.
