BenQ has launched a new camera for its C series line-up, the 10 megapixel DC C1060.

The new camera has a 3x optical zoom and 2.7" LCD screen. Its features include Super-Shake-Free mode with high sensitivity of ISO3200, Smile Catch mode and video recording with optical zoom.

The Smile Catch mode allows continuous shooting whenever a smiling face is detected within the scene, until the mode is deactivated. You can also choose between manual and automatic modes, so amateurs and professional photographers can use it how they want to.

Furthermore the DC C1060 offers 10 creative photos frames to give the photos an individual touch, and offers an expandable memory via SDHC card up to 16MB.

No pricing or release details have been announced as yet, but we'll get them to you when we get them.
