Nikon announces firmware update for D80

Version 1.11 corrects blinking battery light

Nikon has announced firmware update 1.11 for its D80 DSLR camera.

Version 1.11 corrects the problem that under some circumstances, users had complained of the battery light flashing as empty regardless of how full the battery was.

The new firmware is the second update for the camera, but don't worry if you didn't get round to downloading that - all the improvements from previous versions are included in the 1.11 update.

Version 1.11 is available now for download from the Nikon website, where you'll find all the details on how to install it as well.
