Ilford has announced it will launch new and improved product ranges at this year's Photokina event. Its Galerie and Omnijet product lines will see new additions as well as improvements in product performance and compatibility with new wide format inkjet printers.
The company says it is "channelling its energy into creating products that will truly benefit the professional’s portfolio". Some things we can expect to see at Photokina include the redesigned Galerie Smooth Pearl and Galerie Smooth Gloss paper that now allows sharper images to be printed on it and the new Galerie Graphic providing media for more specialist applications.
As well as that, a new range of film products within the Omnijet line have been specifically designed to work well with the new wide format printers - Instant Dry Glossy Portable Display Films (230 gsm and 400 gsm) for pop up and roll up displays, Instant Dry Glossy Photo White Film (215 gsm) for high gloss photographic images for indoor display and Instant Dry Glossy Backlit Display Film (190 gsm) for lightboxes.
We'll be sure to keep you in the know of all announcements from Photokina - it all kicks off on September 23rd.
