Canon gives away some bling to promote new camera line

Maria Sharapova is Canon's sweetheart of late. Already one of the faces of Canon's PowerShot cameras, she is now also helping the company to promote its new line of cameras, the limited edition Canon PowerShot Diamond Collection.

To get the word out about the new collection, Canon has set up a competition to give away five diamond-encrusted PowerShot SD1100 camera, with 88 white diamonds totalling 2.22 carats positioned around the lens.

Unfortunately, the competition is only open to US residents but if you're reading from the States and fancy your chances of winning a blinging camera, head over to the Canon website. Just don't take it out on a drunken night out.
