If you're a photographer with an iPhone, a handy application has cropped up that will provide you with a number of photographers tools to save you carrying around a stack of reference materials.

PhotoCalc from Adair Systems offers a whole range of calculators that will be useful to both pro photographers, and those who just do it for fun. There's also a number of reference documents that you might need to look at while on a job.

The calculators include Exposure Reciprocation, Depth of Field and Hyper-focal Distance, Flash Exposure and Sunrise/sunset/solar noon. You can configure the application to use English or metric units depending on which you prefer.

You can get PhotoCalc from the App Store for £1.79.
