Sigma releases firmware update for SD14

Version 1.08 fixes three different bugs

7 August 2008 12:29 GMT / By Verity Burns

Sigma has released a new firmware update, version 1.08, for its SD14 DSLR.

The update corrects a number of problems reported by users. Firstly it corrects images recorded in RAW format appearing to have an unnaturally large file size.

It also fixes a problem of camera freeze and image recording failure when shooting continuously, or if the shutter button is pressed when CF Card Busy is blinking.

The final improvement is that when the Bulb Mode is used in Sigma Photo Pro, it now displays the actual shutter speed used in the exposure rather than just showing the word "Bulb".

For full details on how to download the update as well as get hold of the firmware, head over to the Sigma website.
