Version 1.50 makes three improvements

7 July 2008 23:42 GMT / By Verity Burns

Ricoh has released a firmware update for the GX100 which corrects three problems reported by users.

Version 1.50 will ensure the following improvements:

1. Previously, under certain conditions in manual exposure mode, even if you pressed the function button for automatic exposure adjustment, it would fail to select the appropriate exposure settings. This has now been corrected

2. Improvement of flash control in dark environments.

3. Modified the format of JPEG files from a RAW format file that produced an incorrect file format in case you set the RAW/JPEG setting to N640, and the Pic Quality / Size setting to RAW 3:2.

In case you missed or did not apply the previous GX100 firmware updates, you will get all the improvements offered in those too.
