Fujifilm releases firmware update 1.02 for FinePix F100fd

Get rid of that pinkish edge

Fujifilm have released a new firmware update for the FinePix F100fd digital camera.

Version 1.02 should reduce a "pinkish-coloured band" which has been reported on the left side edge of an image when shot at ISO 400, or without flash on "natural & flash mode".

If you have been experiencing this, or even if you haven't, the new firmware can be downloaded from Fujifilm's website.

To judge what firmware you currently have, insert a blank memory card into the camera and turn on your FinePix F100fd while holding down the [DISP/BACK] button.

Your current version will show up, and if it is less than 1.02, it's probably best you get the update.

All the details on how to install the new firmware on your camera, along with the full download are on Fujifilm's website.
