Ricoh have just announced a £50 cashback deal for any new R8 camera bought between 1 May–12 June.But don't go shopping for it on the Internet, it needs to be bought from an authorised Ricoh UK dealer or Platinum dealer to count.
The R8 is an award-winning model, featuring 7.1x optical wide-angle zoom, 10 megapixels and a 2.7-inch, 460,000-pixel HVGA LCD screen. It also incorporates the Smooth Imagine Engine III from the earlier model, to make your high-definition pictures spot on.
All this technical specification comes with a slim, contemporary appearance. It has been designed around the concept of "a tool you want to use everyday" and as such, Ricoh state that "great care has been given not only to styling and colouring but also to its operability, portability, comfort in hand, and its solid, high-quality feel". Very nice too.
