DxO Labs, the brains behind automatic image enhancing software for DSLRs, DxO Optics Pro, announced today that the v5.0 of the software would now support the Samsung GX20 DSLR camera body and an initial selection of lenses.

Also released alongside this was an additional 22 correction modules for a variety of Nikon DSLR camera bodies. These included the AF-S DX Nikkor 16-85 f/3.5-5.6G ED VR, the AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED, and the AF Zoom-Nikkor 35-70mm f/2.8D.

DxO Optics Pro v5 is available immediately and Windows users can get it straight away on the company's e-store or from certain retailers. Mac users on the other hand will have to make do with the DxO Optics Pro 5 public beta for Macintosh, which is currently downloadable from their website. The final release for the Macintosh platform is expected later in the year.

Prices stay unchanged from version 4.5, with the standard option at £99 and the elite option at £199. Good news if you bought your copy after 1 August 2007 though – you get the upgrade for free. Bargain.
