Panasonic updates firmware for 25mm lens

Contrast AF for Leica D Summilux 25mm/f/1.4 ASPH

A new firmware update is now available for download which gives the Leica D Summilux 25mm/f/1.4 ASPH new contrast AF capabilities.

The 25mm optic is a single focal length lens suitable for snapshots to portraits.

This latest firmware supports contrast AF when mounted on DSLRs that are compatible with the FourThirds standard.

With this update, the Summilux 25mm becomes the third Leica D interchangeable lens offering contrast AF.

The download is available worldwide through Panasonic now.
