Bogen Imaging has released a new version of the 190X Manfrotto tripod - the 100% carbon fibre 190CX.

The main claim for this new model is greater stability with features including a refined leg locking system, new angle adjustment levers, a levelling bubble and new levers and column components.

The tripod comes in three different versions - the two professional level models - the three-section 190CXPRO3 and four-section 190CXPRO4, and a more simplistic version for the keen enthusiast called the 190CX3.

The 190CXPRO3 and 190CXPRO4 use Manfrotto's horizontal/vertical centre column system, carbon fibre tri-faceted centre column, magnesium top plate, lever lock and top spider die casting, levelling bubble and anti-rotation system.

The 190CXPRO3 is priced £239.95; the 190CXPRO4 £249.95 and last up, the 190CX3 is available now for £199.95.
