Kingston Technology has launched three new flash storage, USB devices.

First up is the DataTraveler 400 USB flash drive, which is claimed to be able to keep data synchronised between multiple PCs.

The drive is pre-loaded with MigoSync data synchronisation software that allows users to work among multiple PCs by directly synchronising files, email and Internet browser settings onto the drive.

"The DT400 is the perfect solution to keep documents and settings completely up-to-date and in sync," explained Mark Akoubian, flash memory product manager at Kingston.

"Accessing email and keeping sections of the drive secure through password protection make the DT400 a powerful device for anyone to stay safely connected with work or home while on the go."

The drive is available in capacities up to 8GB, and also includes SecureTraveler software, which allows users to create a ‘Privacy Zone,’ which is password-protected.

The Kingston DataTraveler 400 is supported by a five-year warranty and free 24/7 technical support.

The 2GB DT400 USB Drive is $31; the 4GB drive $56; and the 8GB drive is priced $137.

Next up are the cheaper DataTraveler HyperX and DataTraveler 110, which are both available in capacities up to 8GB.

The DT HyperX offers data transfer rates of 30MB/s for read and 20MB/s for writing

It is designed to run on any Windows platform but specifically enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost on Vista based systems.

The DataTraveler 110 features a capless, retractable USB connector for ease-of-use and safe housing.

It is available in different colours according to capacity: purple (1GB), blue (2GB), red (4GB) and green (8GB).

Both drives are backed by a five-year warranty and free 24/7 technical support.

Kingston DataTraveler HyperX USB drives range in price from $74 to $266, while the DT110 drives are priced between $12 and $104.
