Ricoh announces new firmware for GR Digital II

Image quality improved

2 January 2008 11:01 GMT / By Katie Scott

Ricoh GR Digital II owners can now download a firmware update for their camera.

Ricoh GR Digital II firmware v1.12 is claimed to improve image quality at lower resolutions.

It also fixes some problems relating to the camera's ADJ lever.

Owners had found that when they operated the ADJ lever in the macro mode, the display switching speed may change, while when operating the lever while compensating exposure, all of the keys would not work.

The firmware update is available for PC owners with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 or Windows Me operating systems, as well as for Mac owners with Mac OS X 10.3 or greater.
