Mustek has just announced the launch of two new A3 CIS flatbed scanners in the UK.ScanExpress A3 USB 600 Pro and ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 claim to continue Mustek's series of "high performing, user-friendly A3 scanning solutions at affordable prices".
With a large scanning area for documents up to 297 x 420 mm and 48-bit true colour mode (over 68.7 billion colours in a single pass), the flatbed scanners are designed for use in professional environments.
The models offer optical resolutions of 600x1200 dpi for ScanExpress A3 USB 600 Pro and 1200x1200 dpi for ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro.
The scanners feature CIS (Contact Image Sensor) technology and an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) function and image editing software that enables the user to convert image format into text and to enhance scanned images to ensure best possible results.
All ScanExpress models are delivered with ready-to-go accessories such as, USB cable, power adapter, application and driver CD. The new models are provided with an addition of Windows Vista driver to the standard ready-to-go accessory pack.
Both models are available in the shops immediately. The recommended retail prices are £99.99 (ScanExpress A3 USB 600 Pro) and £119.99 (ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro).
