Kodak, continuing its push into the printer market has announced a partnership with PC World, Currys and Currys.digital to exclusively supply its brand new All-In-One inkjet printers in the UK market from June 2007.

PC World, Currys Superstores and Currys.digital stores will stock the Kodak EasyShare 5300 and 5500 All-in-One Printers at £139 and £209 respectively from next month.

The company is hoping a strong ink price point, which promises twice the amount of prints than its competitors for the same price will drive sales of the new printers.

"Selecting to sell in just one company's stores [DSG owns both Currys and PC World] will enable Kodak to have greater control over its positioning in the marketplace", one industry insider told Photographypress.co.uk

The Kodak EasyShare AiO Printers use Kodak’s pigment-based ink, priced at £6.99 for a cartridge of black ink and £9.99 for a five-ink colour cartridge.
