I once found a fish that was bigger than a whale

If you've ever been fishing and not had much luck a new device by US company Humminbird aims to let you know the exact location of the fish at any given time.

The SmartCast remote sonar sensor (see images below) attaches to your line and cast for instant views of what's below. Data is then streamed to a watch styled unit showing you the fish, bottom and structure of the river or pond you happen to be finishing in.

The device, which will cost roughly £110 can pinpoint fish up to 75ft away upto a depth of , however Humminbird denies it is unfair on the fish. “It's not cheating because you still have to con the fish into biting your bait.” Said spokesman Gill Neighbour.
