HTC HD2 priced in UK

Free but only on 2-year contract

HTC HD2 priced in UK

29 October 2009 5:12 GMT / By Stuart Miles

The HTC HD2, the company's Windows Mobile 6.5 handset, might have already had an operator free price detailed by an over zealous online retailer, but now it seems it's got a contract price for those waiting to grab it with their grubby mitts.

Mobiles.co.uk is the culprit, this time offering the handset to Windows Mobile fans on O2 starting at £25 a month if you're happy to part with £184.98 upfront.

Those looking for a cheaper way in can opt for a £35, 18-month contract for which you'll get 600 of the operators finest minutes.

As is the way in the UK, those looking for a free handset need to sign away 2 years with the handset and £40 a month.

No word on an availability date but the handset that sports a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 5.0 Megapixel camera is expected any day.
