HTC has released the all important firmware update for its HTC Touch Diamond2 mobile phone taking it from Windows Mobile 6.1 to Windows Mobile 6.5.
The new ROM upgrade, which is available from the HTC website, will upgrade the phone to the new OS launched earlier in the month and with it bring a host of new features.
Users are recommended to backup their data as the process wipes any data from the handset.
HTC says the update will take up to 30 minutes, and users shouldn't interrupt the update process, make/receive phone calls, disconnect the device from the PC, or press any buttons until the process has been completed.
