Revo has announced the launch of the Heritage, a new multi-format digital radio.

Described as a "contemporary reinterpretation of classic European table radio designs from the 50s and 60s", the Heritage gets a walnut veneer and metal exterior.

Offering DAB, DAB+, FM and Wi-Fi internet radio - as well as wireless audio streaming - the Heritage also gets an iPod or iPhone dock.

Audio performance is delivered by a custom designed 3-inch neodymium speaker driver and a high fidelity 7W amplifier. There's also a graphical OLED display and a "joystick" control system.

The Heritage comes with a 30-day Last.fm trial subscription, which, if users want to continue to use costs £3 a month.

The Heritage will go on sale in early November, priced at £229.95, direct from Revo or from John Lewis.
