BlackBerry Bold 9700 on Vodafone pre-order

Vodafone has announced the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 is now available on a pre-order basis over on its site. The operator has revealed a delivery date of 28 October.

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is the improved version of the original Bold, launched back in 2008, and offers HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

The cheapest option in terms of monthly cost is a £35 a month, 2-year contract that offers 600 anytime minutes and unlimited texts and crucially an unlimited BlackBerry Internet Service as well as unlimited Vodafone Mobile Internet.

To get the same deal on an 18-month contract, and the handset for free, customers will have to fork out £40 a month.
