Apple just couldn't resist taking a swipe at the launch of Windows 7 with its latest advert that many say are getting tired.

This time Apple play the "broken promises" card with PC claiming that it's the best yet, before Mac claims a spot of déjà vu.

There then ensues a series of PCs stating the same thing with different Windows operating systems in getups from the ages.

Has this series finally run out of steam? Let us know in the comments below.

  • Simply brilliant. Posted by Michael Weiss, USA
  • the formula surely feels old... but to tell the truth this was just hilarious! Posted by Joe M, Canada
  • It's always funny! These ads crack me up!! Posted by Dane, UK
  • Spot on. Windows always announces every new system like it's the solution to everything, the fanboys hype it up, and then guess what - within a couple of weeks we get the first of the patches to download. Posted by Ian, UK
  • This isn't ethical advertising. Mac aren't even marketing anything here, they are just bashing a competitor? Seems a little pointless and immature to me, and yeah, the series is getting old. Posted by Olivia, Australia
  • Instead of making a valid comparison between Mac and Windows they've just suggested it'll be bad because Microsoft has stated their new operating system is an improvement on their previous one. Which (apart from Vista) has almost always been true. Good job Apple.. Posted by Tom, UK
