The Sony Ericsson Jalou by Dolce & Gabbana is about as fashion as any handset aimed at the female market gets.

The new device is small, touts just enough tech spec to not make it a joke, has a mirror function and 24 carat gold plating.

To give you an idea of where the new phone is aimed, here is the ad - or "short film" - for the new phone that offers Dolce & Gabbana clad models in a film noir setting.

As well as being available via O2 on contract, the Jalou is available to buy handset-only for around the £400 mark.
