After months of rumours, leaked pics and reviews before it even got official, RIM has finally announced the Storm 2, the successor to its first touchscreen phone.

As well as an improved SurePress screen, and BlackBerry OS 5, the 2 benefits from the addition of Wi-Fi.

It will launch in the UK in time for Christmas on Vodafone and will be free for those prepared to sign up to £35 per month, 2-year contracts.
