In the States, Pure Digital has launched a new "premium" version of its Flip MinoHD pocket camcorder that sees a few feature additions for an extra $30.
Priced at $229 and boasting 8GB of storage for 2 hours of 720p video, a larger 2-inch screen and an HDMI port, the premium model gets either an aluminium shell or a personalised design from Flip's website.
There's also a new version of the FlipShare software with an "automatic Magic Movie mode" that auto-trims and edits clips before uploads.
There's no news on a UK launch for the new higher-end model just yet, but the second generation of Pure Digital's Flip Ultra line only went on sale here in June.
