Today's website of the day is takeitapart.net a website that does exactly that to electronic gadgets so you can see what they are made of.

While the site is simple - its designed around a blog format the site owners seem in intent on finding stuff and then simply taking it apart.

The site states that it is a:

“resource to be used by anyone who wishes to see - for any reason - how to take apart certain electronic devices. We will try to post a new dissection as often as time permits.

"We must recommend against, of course, the dismantling of electronic devices. (Doing so could damage them or void their warranties.)”

Each device, so far taken apart is done so with precision rather than just smashing it up and if you really must see what is inside an iPod or a Gamecube for example this is a good place to start.
