T-Mobile US to sell Android-equipped Samsung Behold II

Comes with TouchWiz interface

Samsung has announced another Android handset to follow up the Galaxy i7500. It's called the Behold II, and as far as we know for the time being, it'll only be available in the US - carried by T-Mobile US. As well as Android, it'll carry Samsung's TouchWiz UI.

Like the i7500, it has a 3.2-inch AMOLED display and the aforementioned TouchWiz UI allows you to interact with widgets found in a slide-out tray on the left side of the homescreen. You can also access Samsung's "Cube" menu, which gives access to music, photos, videos, the web, YouTube and Amazon MP3.

It also has a 5-megapixel camera, flash, visual voicemail, music player, the capability to pump in 16GB of external storage (presumably from a microSD card), A-GPS and Bluetooth. We would guess that it'll also come with Wi-Fi, but there's no confirmation of that.

The handset is scheduled to launch "later this year", i.e. before Christmas. Pricing and availability, as well as any news of a UK launch for the device, are unknown. We'll keep you posted.
