Nokia offers E55 SIM-free for £299

Nokia is offering its slim Eseries smartphone, the E55, direct to customers in the UK on a SIM-free, handset-only basis.

The device is now available at www.nokia.co.uk/shop for £299, including VAT but excluding delivery.

At launch, Nokia claimed the E55 was the world's most compact and thinnest smartphone available on the market.

Promising a standby time of a month, the compact QWERTY keyboard features two letters per key on its 20-key keypad.

The E55 also offers full Nokia Maps, assisted GPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera and memory expandable up to 16GB.
