Here's a few snaps of Toshiba's Satellite T110 and T130 laptops that were recently announced by the company. They're designed to fill the gaps between netbooks and full desktop-replacement machines, and carry a huge battery life of 11 hours.

The come in red, white and black, and vary in specs. We had a go with the keyboard and found the T130's to be roomy enough for comfort, but the T110 to feel a little on the cramped side - fine for a few quick emails, but you won't want to write a novel on it.

Both will be offered from late October (we suspect 22 October, the same date as Windows 7's release) and will cost - depending on configuration - from £430 upwards.
