Dell has revealed the new Latitude Z, apparently the world's thinnest and lightest 16-inch laptop.With no internal optical drive, the laptop starts at just over half an inch thin and weighs in at 2kgs.
Specs include Intel Core 2 Duo, Windows Vista, up to 4GB RAM, up to 256GB SSD, optional mobile broadband and Bluetooth and up to an 8-cell battery.
The "premium" Latitude Z offers a soft-touch finish and a "silky-touch backlit keyboard" while the 16-inch display is widescreen and backlit with HD capabilities.
It also launches as the world's first laptop with a wireless inductive charging stand and wireless docking. Pricing is from £1319 - a figure that does not include VAT and shipping.
