BioShock coming to the Mac

2007's game of the year

BioShock is getting a release on the Mac platform, just as PC owners are getting pumped for BioShock 2, and a full two years after the title was crowned "Game of the Year 2007".

Feral Interactive, which specialises in porting games over to OS X but has to wait for the rights to be available, is bringing the game to the Apple crowd, and it'll be arriving on 7 October.

What's most shocking, though, is the pricing - £35 in the UK. The PC original can be found for £5-£10 these days, so it's almost cheaper to grab a copy of Windows 7, install it on Parallels and then get a copy of the game.

Either way, it's out soon. Bioshock 2 (for PC and console owners) is due next year.
