Panasonic launch the G51M

The phone is very light and very small

Panasonic has introduced the G51M mobile phone to the UK market. The small entry level phone features tri-band connectivity, 4,096 colour display, two built in games and polyphonic ring tones. The G51M comes in a brushed silver finish and supports Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS), downloadable wallpapers and ring tones, WAP browsing and a desktop handsfree facility.

Panasonic is also pushing the size and weight being 74grams and has dimensions of 80x43x19mm. Panasonic purports to offering 2.5 to 6 hours talk time and up to 200 hours standby time. The 20 built-in melodies featured make the most of the polyphonic ring tones and for users that want to personalise the G51M additional wallpapers and ring tones are available to download from
