RIM has previously confirmed that it will be launching a Mac version of its Desktop software later this year, but has now released screenshots of the application, claiming its release is "just around the corner".

Features will include the ability to sync to iTunes, contacts, calendar, notes and tasks as well as manage applications and backup.

The release also means users will be able to update their BlackBerry's operating system without having to resort to over the air (OTA) options.

Those who can't wait for this to arrive can have a scroll through the gallery below, and we'll keep you posted on a release as soon as we have more.
