Sony's new Reader Touch Edition is due to the UK later this month in black and silver, but anyone fancying a more rouge version can head to John Lewis.

From November, the retailer will offer the Reader Touch Edition in red as an exclusive. Pricing is still the £249 the more sombre-toned versions boast.

The Reader Touch Edition gets a 6-inch touchscreen display that works with both finger touch and a stylus pen for notes.

It also boasts an on-board Oxford English Dictionary and expansion slots for both Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD card.
