Verbatim has gone all sleek'n'stylish with its latest piano black finished HHD drive release, as well as adding a display that still works when not hooked up to power.The new InSight portable hard drive, a palm-sized 2.5-inch 500GB effort, weighs in at 164 grams and measures 153 x 87 x 16mm.
The 21 x 128 pixel display is based on a cholesteric liquid crystal display which shows info even without power. The display will show capacity, or can be personalised with a name.
Suitable for use with both PCs and Macs, data transfer speeds are up to 480 Mbps. Complete with Nero BackItUp Essentials software, the drive goes on sale now for £119.99.
