Asus K Series Domino Collection available

Asus has announced the UK availability of its K Series Domino Collection laptops, aimed at the "practical and pragmatic" user.

Offered with 17.3-inch or 15.6-inch LED backlit screens, the laptops offer Intel Core 2 Duo processors and come with Windows Vista.

Hard drive size varies from 250GB to 320GB, there's up to 4GB memory and a choice of Nvidia GeForce graphics.

Boasting a DVD Super Multi drive, all models get a 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi, SRS Premium Sound and Altec Lansing speakers.

The Asus K Series comes equipped with the Asus "Super Hybrid Engine" which boasts power-saving abilities. The asterisked battery life claim is 5 hours.

There's also Asus' own "IceCool" design that claims to ensure the temperature at the palm rest area is kept to a minimum.

No pricing has been revealed by Asus, a quick Google suggests the machines are on sale now from between £500 to £675.
