MSI has announced the launch of what it says is its "super slim, ultra stylish, economically priced MSI X400 notebook".Running Windows Vista and offering an Intel Centrino processor, the 14-inch notebook's "economic" price comes in at £499 and £569, depending on spec.
The X400 boasts a 14-inch HD widescreen display, HDMI, Bluetooth and wireless n connectivity.
Lightweight at 1.5kg including battery and measuring 9mm thick, the notebook is offered in piano black and pearl white.
The new notebook is offered as two versions - the X400-038UK comes with 500GB HDD, SU3500 CPU and an external optical drive for £569 while the £499 X400-074UK comes with 320GB HDD, SU2700 CPU and loses the optical drive.
Other specs of note include 2GB memory, just two USB 2.0 ports, a 2-in-1 card reader, 1.3MP webcam and MSI's "Vivid Image Enhancement" tech that claims to "give more 3D expression" with movies, pics and games.
