Yesterday it was the launch of the HD-DVD ready Qosimo G30 from Toshiba, today it's the launch of two new additions to its Satellite series, featuring Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology.The Satellite A100 and Satellite P100 promise better connectivity options, improved performance, better surround sound, enhanced graphics, and greater memory bandwidth.
The Satellite P100, according to Toshiba is the ultimate multimedia companion and features Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology, 17-inch widescreen display with Toshiba TruBrite Technology, Harman Kardon speakers with SRS WOW XT and SRS TruSurround and DVD player.
The Satellite P100 is Toshiba's first notebook to feature a DVI-D single link port to transfer high definition digital content to an external monitor. The machine also comes with NVIDIA's GeForce Go 7600 graphics processor with up to 256MB VRAM.
The Satellite P100 will be available in UK from today from £1,199 inc. VAT
The Satellite A100 on the other hand features a15.4 inch wide-screen display with Toshiba TruBrite, Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology and external ATI Mobility Radeon graphics It too has Harman Kardon speakers, SRS TruSurround XT and SRS WOW technology.
The Satellite A100 will be available in UK from today from £549 inc VAT (Celeron-M Model) and £999 inc VAT (Centrino Duo model). Hardware, Laptops, Toshiba
