An Italian blog - notebookitalia - has released word of a new HP ultra-portable that didn't make its way into the rash of HP announcements that we've had over the last week or so. It's an 11-inch ultra-portable called the Pavilion DM1.It has almost the same chassis as the Mini 311 but apparently doesn't carry the Ion chip that the mini does. Instead, it has an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics chip paired with a Intel Celeron Dual-Core SU2300, 2GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive.
It's slated to cost 490 euros, which is more than your average netbook, but then the performance ranks higher than the average netbook too. Perhaps we'll get an official announcement of this soon - complete with availability info.
