Vers intros hand-crafted wood cases for iPods and iPhone

Vers has announced a new line of hand-crafted wood cases for the iPod and iPhone.

Offering the "natural beauty and strength" of walnut, cherry and bamboo, the audio company is angling the cases as the most environmentally "thoughtful" available on the market.

"Wood is a wonderful feeling, natural material and every case has its own unique character. The real surprise is just how tough wood is", says a Vers bod.

With trees replanted for every case made, the Vers wood cases for iPhone, iPod touch and iPod classic are available now, priced from $39.99.
